 Patrick Le Gales

Professor Le Galès is a political sociologist at Sciences-Po Paris. He is the Dean of the new Urban School at Sciences-Po which includes the research group “Cities are back in Town”.
In this presentation, he will explain the research questions and topics that are most pressing and still open in this field, and the concrete research and teaching activities they are currently being undertaken at Sciences-Po. After his presentation he will engage in a conversation about the research activities at CBS and in Denmark on the same area, in view of identifying further research avenues.
He has recently edited a book with Desmond King on “Reconfiguring European States in Crisis” (2017) Oxford UP.
