Kasper Regenburg Jønsson is an industrial PhD student at the Department of Accounting in collaboration with the largest Nordic bank, Nordea. His research focuses on the information processing of investors and lenders where he applies unique data and natural language processing methods to quantitively interpret corporate texts. Kasper has a Master’s Degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. Kasper also worked with machine learning methods to understand patterns in text of financial reports for his Master’s thesis as a research assistant at the Department of Accounting.
