Presentation

I primarily conduct research on individuals' characteristics, including rank-and-file employees, and firm outcomes. I study firm outcomes such as financial reporting, earnings management, bankruptcy likelihood, and firm performance. Most of my research exploits proprietary administrative datasets from Statistics Denmark, which allows me to investigate questions that are difficult to answer with US data.

Primary research areas

Individuals' characteristics, including rank-and-file employees, and firm outcomes. Firm outcomes include:

  • Reporting quality and earnings management
  • Bankruptcy likelihood
  • Firm performance
