Beyond the Game (Beyond the Game)
The overarching objective of this research application is to analyse if, when and how Danish football clubs work with CSR. It has been argued that CSR can create value for both football clubs and the surrounding community but it is unclear under what conditions these effects materialize (Babiak and Wolfe, 2009; Breitbarth and Harris, 2008). Of special interest is the local dialogue and negotiations which define the issues which are selected in and selected out in the day-to-day operations of the clubs.
