    Shipping bachelor expands to the US, Canada and China

    Only 24 out of 747 applicants were admitted in the first batch of International Shipping and Trade bachelor students at CBS. CBS has been working towards expanding the program and with the newly signed collaboration agreement between CBS and universities in Canada and China, we are well underway.

    Five new PhD´s at CBS Maritime

    With the support of The Danish Maritime Fund and five departments at CBS, CBS Maritime is coordinating a DKK 20 million research program targeted at sectoral needs in the maritime industry. 1st September 5 new PhD´s started their research career at CBS.

    For Cand.merc. students taking the Minor in Maritime Business and writing their master’s thesis on a maritime subject, the offer stands to join on a study trip to a maritime hubs in Europe. This year the group is visiting the maritime city of Hamburg.

    Bachelor degree in shipping with internship now available at CBS

    CBS has received approval for an ambitious bachelor degree programme in shipping with an internship in the maritime sector. The new programme will be launched in 2014 and was created as a direct result of CBS Maritime’s response to recommendations from the government’s growth team for Blue Denmark

    The Blue MBA awarded accreditation in Denmark

    CBS' Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics has attained accredition by ACE Danmark and can add the Danish recogniton of the education to its exisiting list of international accreditations.

    CBS offers new bachelor programme in shipping economics

    CBS Maritime plays an important part in new collaborations with the shipping industry and across universities. A maritime research event at CBS emphasised the need and received a prominent visit by Morten Østergaard, Minister for Science, Innovation and Higher Education. CBS has just sent an application to the Danish accreditation operator ACE Denmark for the first Danish, academic programme in shipping economics at undergraduate level
