Congratulations

A team of CBS graduate students from three different cand.merc. programs won third place in overall placement as well as the honor of the prestigious Emory Communication Award at the PIM International Case Competition Finals that took place at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Paal Holdoe Dahl - FIR, Mandeep Kaur - MIB, Mads Peter Langhorn - IBS, and Rasmus Hannemann Møller - MIB represented CBS. Twenty top business schools from around the world participated in the event, with the five best chosen to compete in the finals on December 4, 2004. It was an extremely intense experience - with only seven hours for each team to do their analysis and come up with a finished presentation. A unique, out-of-the-box-thinking strategy for Nike's adaptation for the Chinese market gave the CBS team third place - with the first place honors going to Otago from New Zealand. Impressively, a superior presentation landed the CBS team the Emory Communication Award.
