CBS in the final round

Four masters students represent CBS in PIM International Case Competition in Atlanta

A team of four CBS masters students have been selected for participation in the Final Round of the PIM International Case Competition to take place in on the campus of GoizuetaBusinessSchool at EmoryUniversity in Atlanta, GA on December 3rd and December, 2004.

The team was selected in October to represent CBS in the initial, virtual round. Winning a place on the team were:

Paal Hardoe Dahl, 2nd year FIR

Rasmus Hannemann Møller, 2nd year MIB

Mandeep Kaur, 1st year MIB

Mads Peter Langhorn, 1st year IBS

The team received the case by e-mail on Friday, 15 October and returned their proposals in a PowerPoint presentation on Monday, 18 October. They were only allowed to work on it for a total of six hours and the PowerPoint presentation could be no more than 10 slides in total. “The work was intense but extremely educational and our skills complemented one another well,” commented Paal after the preliminary round was over.

Finalists were announced on Tuesday, 9 November and are the following schools – all members of PIM (Partnership in International Management):

  • Emory University, Goizueta Business School, USA

  • Universitá Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Italien

  • University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School, USA

  • University of Otago School of Business, New Zealand

  • Copenhagen Business School, Danmark
