Reidar B Bratvold is a Professor and Discipline Leader of Petroleum Engineering and Management at the University of Adelaide specializing in uncertainty assessment, risk management and investment decision-analysis.

Reidar holds a PhD degree in petroleum engineering and a MSc degree in mathematics both from Stanford University, a MSc degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa, a BSc degree from Rogaland University in Stavanger, Norway. He also has extensive executive education from INSEAD (International Executive Program), Stanford Graduate School of Business and the MIT Sloan School of Management.
