Soundproofing art in LRC
06/22/2016
Noise and poor acoustics are frequent complaints at CBS Library. In a novel attempt to counter these issues we have recently introduced an acoustics and art solution from AKUART in the LRC computer and social learning zone on the 1st floor.
The AKUART solution consists of two sound-absorbing frames sporting a definition of Macroeconomics.
The frames are printed on specially-designed mineral wool plates that help reduce noise by only throwing back sound to a minimal extent.
We hope this initiative will help improve the LRC soundscape.
