What does Germany's future look like amid the economic crisis, rising inequality, and global tensions? Join Professor Poul Fritz Kjær and Senior Research Advisor Philipp A. Ostrowicz in an engaging conversation that explores the challenges and opportunities that characterise German society towards the future in the run-up to the 2025 elections.

The conversation will focus on:

  • The economic crisis in 2024/2025

  • Social and economic inequality between East and West
  • Energy policy and climate transition - how does Germany balance growth and sustainability?
  • Germany's role in Europe and the world - what does the election mean for future international co-operation?

The two experts will analyse how Germany's political parties approach these topics and what citizens expect in a time of change and uncertainty, as well as discuss what the new government will look like.
