CBS PRME is proud to announce that we have teamed up with the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) making CBS the first partner of GSVC in Scandinavia. Founded by MBA students at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business in 1999, the GSVC is one of the oldest social venture competitions with the largest global reach with a global network of premier business schools, universities, and programs in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Teams from all across the globe are invited to learn how to design scalable models through a process that emphasizes stakeholder discovery business innovation and social impact assessment. For the first time, CBS will be part of the process of engaging skilled entrepreneurs across Scandinavia to sign up to the GSVC. The selected participants will get mentoring, exposure and the opportunity to win over $80,000 in prizes so that they can transform their ideas into ventures that address the world´s most pressing challenges.

The selected teams from the first round will get the opportunity to participate in the regional final in Paris in March. Two finalist teams from each regional round will be selected for the global final which will take place in Milan from 11-13 of April 2018. This is a unique opportunity for students and alumni, either in teams or solo, to help grow their venture.

GSVC has since 1999 helped build ventures such as Revolution Foods, d.light, Husk Power, Ethos Water, Sanergy and World of Good. Many of the GSVC alumni are still operating successful enterprises or nonprofits.
