Management in Construction Network (Construction Network)

Abstract:

The purpose is to build and maintain a network consisting of researchers and practicioners, engaging in constructive dialogue and exchange of experience and knowledge on managerial problems in construction. Through dialogue and interaction, new reseach and experience-based insights in management in construction will be developed and disseminated. It is expected that the network will contribute to (1) a larger and more qualified public interest in managerial problems in construction; (2) a greater insight into underlying problems, which will motivate participants in the network to test new mangement strategies and forms of management, and which will nourish more relevant experience-making; and (3) new managerial concepts, theories, and tools, which can form basis for future training of leaders in construction.
