Servitization: Creating the market by understanding price, cost, contracts, and financing 1 (Servitization)

Abstract:

It is the general hypothesis in this project that an improved competitiveness from both a supplier and customer perspective, through a sharpened competence in servitization (via activities I-III above) will both create new jobs and keep existent jobs that otherwise might disappear in Danish companies, whilst simultaneously enhancing the overall competence level of both suppliers and customers alike. In addition to the potential for ensuring job security in Danish companies, this project also has a direct effect on securing optimal conditions for green shipping, through a highly integrated focus on efficiency throughout the whole life cycle of ships and their components.
