Abstract:

In this project, we aim to improve Danish B2B firm's ability to export via online marketplaces, such as Amazon and Alibaba. In order to reach this, the project will design and develop a platform that enables easy integration to online market places. Furthermore, Danish companies will gain knowledge on how to adapt their business models when entering global markets.Thus, the project aims to help Danish B2B firms to engage in e-export via online market places. The project is structured to provide seven key deliverables: 1) Survey of the Danish B2B firm's e-export maturity and attitudes towards selling on online market places; 2) Survey and document leading global online market places; 3) Develop a business model assessment tool, where Danish firms can evaluate their potential for e-export; 4) Develop a decision support model that assists Danish firms choices in engaging in e-export; 5) Design and develop an e-export platform prototype with documentation of open-api and training material, based on state of the art design principles; 6) Monitor and advice firms on how to enter and improve the use of online market places; and7) Develop best business cases on how to engage in e-export
