We assess each candidate on his or her current and potential abilities, and our admissions committee looks for evidence of academic excellence and professional achievements. Your current role and job responsibilities, combined with your commitment to studying will also be closely examined during the admissions process.

Fees and Expenses
The tuition fee for the Global Executive MBA programme starting in September is DKK 425,000 payable in three instalments.
The tuition fee for the Executive MBA with Flexibility starting in February is DKK 390,000 payable in three instalments.
The tuition fee for each of the CBS Executive Certificates (starting in February) is as follows:
Executive Certificate in General Management: DKK 95,000
Executive Certificate in Business Development and Leadership: DKK 155,000
Business Development and Innovation: DKK 170,000
The tuition fee includes all expenses in connection with your study apart from the accommodation in Copenhagen and flight tickets. Please note that the tuition fee is subject to change both in prices and in the planning of the programme.
To join our leading Executive MBA programme, you will need the following:
- A university or business school degree* (An undergraduate degree or a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration - erhvervsøkonomiske diplomprøve – HD)
- A minimum of three years’ managerial experience**
- GMAT or strong performance in the CBS MBA Admissions Test***
- Support from your organisation
- A personal interview with the CBS Admissions Board
* Applicants who have not gained a business degree are expected to possess professional knowledge of business economics, macroeconomics, and statistics at a level equivalent to part 1 of the HD programme.
** Candidates in a senior role who have a clear path to accelerate their career, and the support of their employer achieving these aims.
** Candidates that are able to demonstrate experience in the management of projects, budgets, processes, or people over a continuous period.
*** The Admissions Test takes place at CBS as part of the personal interview.
If you are a Danish national (or employed in Denmark), you can explore the possibility of financing your CBS Executive MBA via salary deductions at source (known as bruttolønsordninger, lønomlægning or fleksibel lønpakke).
With this scheme, the cost of tuition will come out of your gross salary – before taxes. It is worth noting, though, that the Danish Tax Authorities need to approve the agreement, which could take up to three months. The application procedure involves two elements: a formal application, a personal interview and an admission test.
After we have received your formal application, we will invite you to a personal interview. Please remember to include all the requested documentation. And if your application is successful, we will do our utmost to ensure that a mutual commitment can be made within two to four weeks of receipt.
