Workshop in Cyprus boosts momentum for WISTA’s 40th anniversary

With more than 40 attendees, mostly women from mid-to senior-level management positions, the day-long seminar focused on investigating leadership performance.

Leadership Workshop in Cyprus boosts momentum for WISTA’s 40th anniversary conference in 2014
 

Irene Rosberg, programme director of the Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics and current president of WISTA Denmark, designed and coordinated a leadership seminar for WISTA Cyprus on 15 November at the Limassol headquarters of Interorient.  More than 40 people attended, mostly woman from mid-to senior-level management positions. The day-long seminar focused on investigating leadership performance and participants were taken through various exercises and shared their experiences and ideas, expanding their repertoire of strategic behaviour and actions in conducting leadership. The strong interest and success of the event was a positive sign before the upcoming 40th anniversary of the founding of WISTA and the 2014 international annual meeting and conference which will be hosted in Cypriot.
