CBS EMBA climbs three places in QS Global EMBA Rankings 2019: “CBS has so much great content and incredible professors”

The CBS Executive MBA has risen to claim place 25 globally in the QS World EMBA rankings and place 12 in Europe, climbing three places compared to last year. The ranking evaluates programmes based on academic reputation, career outcomes, diversity, employer reputation and executive profile and was released on 16 April 2019. Overall, the CBS EMBA scored above the global mean in four out of the five categories.

Yet again, the CBS EMBA achieved excellent marks in the category executive profile and employer reputability; strongholds of the programme that serve to underline the extraordinary efforts made by the admissions and careers team. The programme also scores remarkably high in the category ‘academic reputation’,

“It is our intent to bring the CBS Executive MBA out to a wider, global audience and our travel schedule and marketing activities over the past years have supported that goal,” says MBA Director Poul Hedegaard. “The value proposition we offer is high; participants will benefit from lots of individual attention from faculty, classes are smaller than the global average and we teach cutting-edge business practices within sustainable business practices which organisations need to embrace for success.”

Participant Carlos Pena flies in to Copenhagen from New York City, where he works for JP Morgan on Wall Street, to complete his EMBA with CBS.

“CBS has so much great content, incredible professors, and respected leaders in their professional field, and I got to meet them in the first week,” he says. “I was amazed at the level of content I was receiving, and it was applicable to my current job. I find myself adapting my leadership skills at work and viewing things through a different lens and perspective. It has really helped me evolve in these past few months."
