Seasoned executives prepare to solve strategic challenges during the last leg of the E-MBA

CBS EMBA 16 to 18 kick off ISP

About a week ago, the 40 seasoned executives that follow the 2016-18 Executive MBA, the Global Executive MBA and the Executive Certificate track kicked off their final strategy projects. This concludes the E-MBA journey and participants draw on learning outcomes, projects and analysis from all three terms to form a strategic plan that will drive their organisations forward. The strategy project is a practical and tangible way for the top-tuned executives to apply their newfound skills, adding value and creating immediate organisational ROI in the process. During the three months that remain until graduation, participants will immerse themselves in the challenges that apply to their own industry with a view to present an implementation plan at the final exam.

Previous strategy projects have resulted in the creation of a new and superior claims platform for an insurance company, the launch of a successful boutique hotel and the execution of an exciting event in New York celebrating skin hosted by a pharmaceutical company.

Or, using the words of a previous sponsoring employer:

“During the CBS E-MBA, our participant was able to satisfy some of the demanding challenges that we faced and his final strategy project was directly relevant to an urgent business issue,” states Stuart Ainsworth, Business Assurance Manager at Lloyd’s Register.

Though graduation is now dimly visible on the E-MBA horizon, the forthcoming three months will be hectic for these accomplished yet curious executives as they dive into various technologies, customer experiences and financial statements. We are looking forward to following their progress and wish them all the best for their final endeavor!
