Into the big-data stream – and out again?
There is increasing focus on ‘big data’ in companies, the media and among decision-makers. Edward Snowden’s revelation about the NSA’s surveillance programme is just the latest example of how big data can have consequences. At the seminar “Into the big-data stream – and out again?” experts from CBS’ Big Data Forum will broach the topic of how to navigate in the data stream that big data creates. The experts include Pernille Tranberg, journalist and author of a number of books about the internet, data and privacy; Anders Koed Madsen, assistant professor at Aalborg University; and Mikkel Flyverbom, associate professor at CBS.
