Professional inspiration at CBS

On Monday 14th January 2008, 125 social studies teachers from several upper secondary schools visited CBS for some professional inspiration.

During the course, which was arranged by CBS, the teachers, among other things, listened to presentations by CBS professors. The secondary school teachers listened to Associate Professor Niels Bjerre-Poulsen's presentation on the President of the United States, George Bush, while Professor Kjeld Erik Brødsgaard gave a presentation on modern China, and Professor Uffe Østergaard gave a presentation on the EU.

Associate Dean of Education, Sven Bislev, talked about the various programmes available at CBS, and their approach to economics, sociology, and politics.

Positive feedback

Senior Advisor, Lars Thorsen, who participated in the planning of the course, says:

- People listened to the presentations with great interest and were very inquisitive, so I definitely think that many teachers received some professional input and inspiration that they can use when teaching. My impression is that the teachers were very satisfied with the course. We have received a great deal of positive feedback.
