The number of  first priority applications for CBS' bachelor programmes have increased by 4 % compared to 2011.

2,546 future students, who have applied through quota 2 (the application group for students who need to be assessed on other factors than their GPA), have a bachelor programme from CBS at the top of their wish lists. This is an increase of 4 % compared to 2011. The overall number of applications also shows an increase of 4 %, since CBS has received a total of 7,038.

- Our BSc in Economics and Business Administration and BSc in International Business programmes have both experienced an increase of 10 % in the number of 1st priority applications. At the same time, the overall number of applications for the two programmes have increased in comparison to last year, says Anne Mette Hou, Head of Admissions. Her conclusion is that this increase is owing to the large year groups of young people.

Generally, the programmes in economics and business administration have been subject to the largest percentual increase in the number of 1st priority applications, while the programmes in business language represent the largest percentual increase in the overall number of applications.
