This coming fall semester yet another hopeful group of third year IB students will get the chance to shape their future. The IB programme’s fifth semester is namely dedicated to exchanges, internships or electives. The purpose: to influence your study choice and further experience the international aspect of the programme.

This year the choices of countries and cities among regular IB students range from traditional ones like London, New York, Los Angeles, Rotterdam and Madrid to more exotic places such as Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Not to forget the 15 students currently involved in the tri-continental Globe programme who are leaving for Hong Kong in June to later continue their exchange experience in the US.

Students going on internships are preparing for life in Japan, Russia, Germany and Argentina at companies like Alfa Laval and Lundbeck.

In other words, there is a large amount of eagerness to live internationally which makes exchange the first choice among IB students compared to others. However many students are also tempted to stay in Denmark either taking a variety of elective courses at CBS or getting some work experience at companies such as Bank Invest, Novo Nordisk and Deloitte.
