Increased number of study places

The application deadline for quota 1 applicants was 5 July.

11,336 potential students applied for admission to a CBS bachelor's programme, which is an increase compared to last year's 10,647applicants. The increase is somewhat evenly distributed among the business economics and language programmes.

- This year, we have increased the number of study places by 150, but due to the increase in the number of applicants, we will unfortunately not be able to lower the number of rejected applicants compared to last year, says Director of Programme Annette Juhl Hansen.

1st priority applications

4,310 applicants have listed a CBS programme as their first priority, which is a small decrease compared to last year.

Especially the programmes BA in English and Organisational Communication and BA in Information Management have experienced a decrease in the number of 1st priority applications, but the BSc in Business, Language and Culture and the BSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law have also shown a decrease in the number of applicants.

All in all, CBS has received a total of 11,336 applications from quota I and quota II applicants. That is approx 800 more than in 2009.

On Thursday 29 July, a response will be sent by mail to all applicants.
