Grants for research and studies in Japan

If you are going to Japan next year, you can now apply for a grant through the Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa Foundation (SJSF)

OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS
 
Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa Foundation (SJSF) is open for applications for its annual allocation of grants. Financial support is granted for study trips, research trips and exchange in Japan that begins after 1 March 2015.
The application deadline is 16 February 2015. On the Fondation's webpage you find the application guidelines (in Danish) and the mandatory application form. 
 
THE FOUNDATION
 
The objective of the Foundation is to enhance exchange of knowledge and understanding between Japan and the five Nordic countries. Grants are allocated to research, development, education and training within medicine, the humanities, social and natural sciences, technology and culture.
The Foundation’s head office is in Sweden and it has a department in each of the other four Nordic countries and Japan. The Foundation's Danish office is located at Asia Reseach Centre, CBS.
