Department of Marketing will be represented at this year's EMAC

Asst. Prof. Antonia Erz, Assoc. Professors Richard Gyrd-Jones and Sylvia von Wallpach, Prof. Tore Kristensen and Master's thesis students Anna-Bertha Heeris Christensen and Mia Backhausen will be presenting their papers to this year's EMAC in Oslo.

This year's EMAC conference is being held in Oslo from May 24th to May 27th. EMAC is the largest marketing conference outside the US. It is run by the European Marketing Academy.
 
The papers being presented are:
 
Antonia Erz, Anna-Bertha Heeris Christensen & Richard Gyrd-Jones: "I Blog So I Become: Studying the transformation power of fashion blogging on consumer bloggers' self-concepts”.
 
Gorm Gabrielsen & Tore Kristensen: "The culturally heterogeneous consumer's experience of design influences how markets work”.
 
Sylvia von Wallpach & Mia Backhausen: "A dynamic perspective on symbolic co-branding: The co-creation of multiple brands’ meaning in the context of blogs". 
 
Furthermore, Associate Professors Sylvia von Wallpach and Richard Gyrd-Jones are running a Special Session: "The process of multi-stakeholder brand co-creation: Critical reflections" at this year's EMAC conference. The Special Session brings together 10 leading international scholars (Brand Meaning Network) from the EU and US including Nicholas Ind who will be acting as discussant.
