New study: Immigrants earn 18% less and have limited access to high-paying jobs

On average, an immigrant in Denmark earns 9.2% less than an ethnic Dane. In other parts of Europe and North America, the gap is even wider. From call to action: CBS educates 3,000 students in Power-to-X in record time

At an annual meeting in Danish Shipping, the then Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities, Dan Jørgensen, called for specific ways to raise awareness of Power-to-X (PtX). In response, CBS’ Department of Operations Management integrated PtX cases into teaching on two major courses. Six months later, more than 3,000 students knew a lot more about PtX and its market potential. They brought this knowledge with them into their academic and professional lives, which has been recognised by industry players including Maersk.

In partnership with the Danish Industry Foundation, CBS offers a personal leadership development programme for entrepreneurs who have reached the point in their startup journey where they are hiring employees. The programme enhances their chances of survival and helps them realise their growth potential. One former participant is Isabella Agdestein whose company has just secured DKK 13.5 million in venture capital.
