The platform Inequality addresses the causes and consequences of inequality in a globalised world, from a Danish, European, and global level and in its multiple and closely linked dimensions. Inequality Picture

The Inequality Platform addresses the causes and consequences of inequality in a globalised world, from a Danish, European, and global level and in its multiple and closely linked dimensions. We contribute to academia and society with research, education, and outreach, involving stakeholders from business, government, and international organisations. The initiative runs from 2018-2023.

Inequality lies at the root of grand challenges that we are facing in the global society. We do research in a wide array of inequality related issues, such as health, climate change, and populism. Labour markets and business, wealth, capital and redistributive politics. Knowledge and evidence are needed – also to inform and guide policy and reform.

The Platform’s ambition is to place CBS at the forefront of the global map of research on inequality. This requires an interdisciplinary perspective, drawing from the expertise of all CBS departments. We reach out to stakeholders, international academia, and the international public. As such the platform forms part of CBS’ ambition to contribute transformatively to society as a knowledge institution delivering high-level research, developments of new innovative teaching portfolios and multifaceted outreach and dissemination activities.
