The research done by platform members and research initiated through the platform inform the development of activities with a range of stakeholders including other universities, businesses, and NGOs. In turn, joint activities let us collect data and insights that feed back into our research. While the research and activities encompass a broad range of topics, a common feature is the orientation towards action-research, that is to say research that is grounded in responding to practical issues faced by organisations we collaborate with and, whenever possible, develop solutions together with practitioners that we can then further monitor and evaluate. Overall, the platform members’ active commitment to diversity and difference thus translates into impactful research that is published in ranked journals and is immediately useful to practitioners in Denmark and beyond.
