CBS’ Digital Transformations Platform focuses on the economic and societal implications of digital and technological developments in the digital age. Anchoring this broad question in the context of CBS’ transformative strategy, we explore transformations in business models, organisations and technology as well as transformations in knowledge production, media and communications.

Grand global challenges in the digital age urgently require innovative and responsible solutions – and the platform has an ambition to provide societal reflections and innovation by bridging disciplinary and sectorial boundaries. To cross-fertilise research on technological transformations in the digital age, and to make a strong contribution in public debates.

The Digital Transformations Platform is at the core of CBS’ strategic ambition to work actively in society as a transformative knowledge institution. We contribute to this ambition by bringing together CBS researchers and external partners from international academia, public and private sectors and policy makers in understanding digital transformations. We pursue innovative and high-quality initiatives in research and education and are as such deeply rooted in CBS’ core task as an international business university.
