Graduate Diploma in Business Administration
The Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (also termed ‘HD’) is a flexible business economic continuing education for the person who wants to upgrade your knowledge with a single course or specialize yourself within a new business area as part of a career change. The nine HD part 2 specialisations can be customized with different electives. There is offered more than 100 single courses in the HD part 1 and 2 programmes with ongoing registration throughout the year.

HD is altogether rated at four years, divided in two years part-time for both parts of it: the Graduate Certificate programme (‘HD part 1’) and the Graduate Diploma programme (‘HD part 2’). When you have a degree from CBS the HD part 2 will be most relevant for you.
Some HD courses can be followed entirely online; other courses are offered on different weekdays so that you can fit the programme into a busy work week.
The Master programmes are aimed at the experienced leader or specialist. CBS offers four of these programmes; two with a general leadership development focus in a public sector context, another, the Master in Taxation, which has a specialized academic focus without being aimed at a certain sector, and finally, the Master in Management Development with a focus on leadership and organisational development.
A Master is completed in two years; however, two of the programmes can be spread over a period of two to six years.

The Full-time MBA is completed in one intensive year while it is also possible to complete an Executive MBA in a more flexible way, for an example with classes every other Friday and Saturday over 26 months.
An Executive MBA is a solid leadership education that can be specialised in different ways. The Global Executive MBA is for an example a section of courses that, as the name indicates, puts leadership in a global perspective. The programme is completed with week-long modules in Copenhagen, London, Shanghai, Chicago, and Kampala. The Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics (the Blue MBA) is customised for the maritime sector and brings together maritime executives from all over the world.

CBS Executive also has a wide selection of course offerings within board work; master classes for experienced board members, the board leadership education for persons who are on their way to a career as professional board members, and courses aimed at board of directors in owner-managed and small and medium sized enterprises.
CBS also keeps up in regards to free online courses, the so-called MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). It is easy to enroll, the instruction is entirely online, and the lessons can be taken on your schedule. The courses can be taken for free or you can buy a diploma for a minor fee.
Research-based teaching and accredited education
Common to CBS’ continuing education programmes is that the instruction is research-based and vocational. Both researchers from CBS and external lecturers from the business community carry out instruction on the programmes.
Since 2011, CBS has been “Triple Crown” accredited. Only about 50 business schools worldwide have achieved all three accreditations; AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB – among others INSEAD, London Business School, IMD, and Rotterdam School of Management.
Network, network and network
In addition to price, duration, and academic focus it is worth examining the participant profile; who will I study with? A programme of continuing education is to a high degree also an opportunity to grow your professional network.
