Company visit at IKEA: What does CSR mean to a global market leader?

Join the company visit to IKEA’s Danish headquarters just outside Copenhagen. IKEA will give a presentation on the role of the market leader, responsibility and opportunities within CSR. You will also be introduced to the results of a new report on CSR reporting: ”Danske virksomheders CSR rapportering – er vi parate til de nye lovkrav?”. For this event, you will furthermore learn how to plan the CSR reporting in order to comply with the new demands. This workshop is organised by the alumni network CIBA.

Wednesday, October 12, 2016 - 17:30 to 20:00

At this company visit you will meet IKEA’s Sustainability Manager, Jonas Engberg, who will give a presentation on the importance of CSR for a global market leader like IKEA. You will also be introduced to the concept of CSR. Moreover, meet Ph.D. and Partner at Carve Consulting, Birgitte Kofod Olsen. Birgitte will present the results of Carve Consulting’s new report: ”Danske virksomheders CSR-rapportering – er vi parate til de nye lovkrav?”. The report presents how far in the process the Danish members of the UN’s Global Compact are, compared to their CSR politic and processes in order to comply with the Danish Financial Statements Act’s demands for the annual report. You can also learn how to plan the CSR reporting in order to comply with the new demands.
