Read a short description of the courses offered in each semester by unfolding the drop-down menu underneath each term.

Term 1 - Understanding the organisation

The first term combines courses that allow you to better understand the foundational principles of organisational behaviour.

The term starts with reflections on how an organisation's human resources can be managed in effective and efficient ways and how such management is related to performance (Human Resource Management).

You will then learn how to gain timely and relevant information by managing an organisation's accounting systems and how to analyse a company's financial statements (Accounting).

Further, you will learn how to extract value from business data in an environment of uncertainty and time pressure and how to make sure you are adding long-term value through your organisation's digitalisation activities (Analytics and Digitalisation).

Term 2 - Exploring the organisation's environment

The second term looks into the organisation's market environment and prepares you to develop skills to analyse the behaviour of different market actors.

We start by understanding how organisations and investors interact and which options exist to finance their activities (Corporate Finance).

This term also includes a course in which you explore how basic economic aspects shape the environment in which businesses operate and how you can use such knowledge to tackle selected managerial problems (Economics).

Trimester two then concludes with a course on contemporary marketing techniques, enabling you to better understand how to analyse consumer behaviour and thereby generate demand for an organisation's products (Marketing).

Term 3 - Managing strategic execution

The third term encourages you to use your knowledge of how organisations and markets operate in order to lead in innovative ways.

You start with learning about how to streamline a firm’s supply chain activities in a way that you achieve a competitive edge and sustain value for the company’s customer (Operations and Supply Chain Management).

You will then learn about how to develop the organisational capabilities to manage innovation processes in organisations, and how to link these processes to strategic decisions (Innovation Management).

And finally, you will apply different concepts to analyse the competitive positioning of an organisation and to implement a coherent strategic orientation within a business (Strategic Management).

Term 4 - Concentrations

The last term allows you to personalise your MBA by choosing between our four concentrations; Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship, Finance or Governance and Sustainability.
