Since then the company has contributed to expanding and maintaining the world's communication connections through some of the most dramatic events in world history: the revolutions in Russia and China, the economic depression of the 1930s, Stalin's pirges, the two world wars, as well as the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union. After the Second World War, Great Northern built an industrial gropu that contributed to laying the groundwork for the wireless mobile and data communications of our age. Several times, the company's existence has been threatened, but it has gotten back on its feet every time, thanks to its strong will to preservere.
