We welcome new staff members to the Department of Finance

The Department of Finance is happy to welcome new staff members: 4 new faculty members, 4 new PhD students, 1 maternity leave cover, 1 office trainee and 3 new student assistants

These new faculty members have joined the Department during the summer or early fall:

• Kasper Meisner Nielsen, Professor in Finance from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, has joined the department as professor from August 1, 2018
• Thomas Geelen, PhD in Finance from EPFL has joined the department as assistant professor from August 1, 2018
• Fabrice Tourre, PhD in Finance from University of Chicago has joined the department as assistant professor from August 15, 2018
• Ingomar Krohn, PhD student in Finance from Warwick Business School, United Kingdom, has joined the department as post.doc from September 1, 2018

In addition, the Department of Finance has hired 4 new PhD students:

• Theis Ingerslev Jensen, cand.merc (Finance and Investments) from Copenhagen Business School has joined the Department as a PhD student at the FRIC Center from September 1, 2018
• Rasmus Jørgensen, cand.merc (Finance and Investments) from Copenhagen Business School has joined the Department as an industrial PhD student in cooperation with ATP from August 15, 2018.
• Alexander Kronies, cand.merc (Finance and Investments) from Copenhagen Business School has joined the Department as an industrial PhD student in cooperation with from June 2018.
• Alessandro Spina, cand.oecon (Advanced Economics and Finance) from Copenhagen Business School has joined the Department as a PhD student at the FRIC Center from September 1, 2018

We have also hired:

• Mette Mikkelsen has joined the Department as maternity leave cover for Jill Andresen Rasmussen from September 1, 2018
• Simone Madsen has joined the Department as office trainee from September 1, 2018
• Mathias Duelund Hansen has joined the Department as student assistant from August 27, 2018
• Sofie Harder has joined the Department as student assistant in the reception at the Department of Finance from September 26, 2018.
• Sigurd Rømer has joined the Department as student assistant in the FRIC center from August 1, 2018.
