François Maon stays with the Department of Marketing for a semester

François Maon received his Ph.D. in 2010 from the Louvain School of Management at the University of Louvain, Belgium. After a visiting scholarship at the University of California, Berkeley, he is now an associate professor at IESEG School of Management in France where he teaches business ethics, corporate social responsibility, strategy and qualitative research methods. In his research, Dr. Maon focuses mainly on topics linked to corporate social responsibility, learning, implementation, and change-related processes; cross-sector social partnerships; and stakeholder influence strategies. He has published articles in various international journals including California Management Review, International Journal of Management Reviews, Journal of Business Ethics, and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, among others. Dr. Maon has co-edited several special issues of academic journals and books including A Stakeholder Approach to Corporate Social Responsibility and Not all Claps and Cheers: Humor in Business and Society Relationships. He also serves on the editorial board of Business and Society and is the founder of the IESEG Center for Organizational Responsibility (ICOR). He lives in Brussels.
