Sustainable Food Day
Next Thursday, 25 March, the student organization WELL will be hosting Sustainable Food Day, which is a day at CBS dedicated to information and discussion about what sustainable food really is (very much in tune with the recent documentary on the chocolate industry). The day will touch upon topics such as ethical marketing of foods, organic/fair-trade/locally-produced foods, consumer awareness, social entrepreneurship in the food sector, and with whom the responsibility of sustainable food consumption should lie. And there will be lots of yummy food J
Our very own Wencke has graciously volunteered as a speaker for the seminar on consumer awareness. The event is aimed at students, but open to everyone - no registration required.
