cbsCSR nominated for DANSK Fashion Awards 2011
We are very proud to announce that CBS Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (cbsCSR) is one of the final three nominees for DANSK Fashion Awards 2011: Ethical Award of the Year!
In April, we were informed by Grenaa Buchard, the organizers of DANSK Fashion Awards,that the Centre had been selected as a potential nominee, and we started a campaign on Facebook and on our website to encourage people to vote for us danskfashionawards.com in the final nomination.
It looks like it worked! Thank you to all our friends and partners, and not least to the very active CBS students that voted for us and helped ensure that we were nominated.
Next is the big galla awards show in Glyptoteket where the final winners will be chosen among a professional jury. We look forward to a great evening of celebrating with our fellow nominees.
cbsCSR has conducted research and teaching in CSR since the Centre was established in 2002. Recently, the Centre has been focusing on sustainability in the fashion industry through engagement in different projects. Read more about the new research projects.

DANSK Fashion Awards is an annual event, which was established in 2008 to promote and celebrate Danish fashion. At a grand gala dinner at the New Carlsberg Glyptotek museum 16 prestigious awards are handed out – from the “Best Danish Designer of the year” to “Ethical Award of the Year”.
The vote takes place in a democratic manner, where everyone has the opportunity to vote for their favorites via this website. In 2010 there were over 100.000 visitors. After two weeks of voting, the nominees with the most votes in each category are found.
When the nominees are found it is up to a professional jury consisting of fashion experts to decide on the winner of each category, who are eventually revealed on the night of the awards.
DANSK Fashion Awards 2011 will take place on June 1st 2011
