15:20    Priorities in Denmark’s Trade, Investment and Economic Co-operation Policies with China by Ms. Susanne Hyldelund, Ambassador, Head of The Trade Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

15:40    East Asiatic Company (EAC) Businesses in China 1970 to 1995 by Mr. Erik Bøgh Christensen. From 1970 to 1990, the speaker was posted in China and Hong Kong, from 1983 as CEO for EAC’s China and Hong Kong activities. From 1997 to 2005, the speaker was Managing Director and CEO of Modern Terminals in Hong Kong.

16:00    Challenges, Achievements and Looking Ahead. IFU’s (The Danish Investment Fund for Developing Countries’) Entry into China in the 1980s and Onwards by Mr. Sven Riskær. From 1978 to 2006, the speaker was Managing Director of IFU. After 2006, the speaker has continued his involvement with development of Danish business activities in China.

16:20    Denmark’s Largest Single Exports Commodity to China – Furs. How Did This Develop and What Is the Perspective? By Mr. Brian Tufvesson, Head of Customers department at Kopenhagen Fur. For more than 25 years, Kopenhagen Fur has been active in the Chinese market and has today a wide-ranging co-operation with Chinese partners including impressive exports to China.

The Event is part of China Days in Denmark organised by Denmark’s three Confucius Institutes, Confucius Institute for Innovation & Learning, Aalborg University, Music Confucius Institute, the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen Business Confucius Institute, CBS, on the occasion of the Ten Years Anniversary of the establishment of the first Confucius Institute.
