Title: Resolution of Danish banks – past, present and future, part II

Abstract: Part I investigated the resolution regimes of Danish banks in the past 20 years. Part II starts with the recent implementation into Danish regulation of the resolution tools from EU Banking Recovery and Resolution Directive. Questions such as the following are to be answered: What is bail-in? How is a bank resolved in practice? How to resolve major banks operating in several jurisdictions? Are bail-outs ruled out in the future?
