Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become somewhat of a buzzword. In collaboration with a number of organisations, CBS now examines the Danish businesses' CSR efforts. If your business considers partnering up with NGO, now is your chance to get the input you need. The conference 'CSR 2010' will feature Mads Øvlisen, Chairman of the Danish Council on Corporate Social Responsibility, representatives from IKEA, who will provide insights into the home products retailer's CSR efforts, and Associate Professor Kai Hockerts from CBS Center for Corporate Social Responsibility and political commentator Hans Engell will present their views on the matter. The Danish Financial Statements Act has increased focus on CSR in large-scale businesses, and consumers as well as the general public increasingly demand honesty and social responsibility from businesses. The NGOs wish to receive additional funding to serve their specific purpose. Maybe there is a common standpoint?

In connection with the conference, a large-scale questionnaire survey is conducted including the businesses, their advisers and the NGOs. Learn more and register on csr2010.dk . The conference will be held on 2 September 2010 from 08:45-15:45 at CBS, Solbjerg Plads 3, Frederiksberg. Participation fee: DKK 1,500 excl. VAT. However, members of Dansk Annoncørforening, DKF, DRRB, DMF, FSR, ISOBRO and Monday Morning: DKK 1,000 excl. VAT
