ARRANGEMENTET FOREGÅR PÅ ENGELSK

Please join us for the launch three new research-platforms at CBS. The platforms are five-year spearheading initiatives set up to address grand challenges that both local and global societies face in the digital age.

At this shared launch event we show how interdisciplinary research initiatives can inform public debates and help solve these societal challenges.

We are honoured to have EU-Commissioner Margrethe Vestager as keynote speaker.

Margrethe Vestager will discuss the intersections of inequality, diversity and technological transformations in a digital age, followed by presentations of the three platforms by researchers Birthe Larsen, Associate Professor, Mikkel Flyverbom, Professor MSO, and Sara Louise Muhr, Professor MSO - all Academic Directors of the CBS-research platforms ‘Inequality’, ‘Difference and Diversity’ and ‘Transformations – technology, data and knowledge in the digital age’.

In three case presentations, guests from companies, think tanks and organizations will debate topics related to the research done in the platforms:

  • Inequality in the digital age: Kristian Weise, Director, Cevea, and Otto Brøns-Petersen, Director for Analysis, Cepos, in discussion.
  • Diversity in the digital age: Jens Bjørn Andersen, CEO for DSV and Executive in Residence at CBS and Florence Villesèche, Associate Professor, in discussion.
  • Transformations in media in the digital age: Morten Tvorup Olesen and Mohammad Imad Honeini, Co-founders of media start-up Zorter and Ioanna Constantiou, Professor MSO and Academic Director, in discussion.

The event will be opened by the President of CBS, Per Holten-Andersen, and moderated by journalist Martin Breum.

The reception will include new media-art by artist Mogens Jacobsen and Jonas Fritsch, Associate Professor, IT University of Copenhagen and music by the Bauditz Kvintet.

We hope you will join us for an inspiring day. The event will be in English. Please sign up below.
