Travel light with e-books
If you plan on spending some of your holiday catching up or getting inspired e-books are easy to bring with you. Read e-books from top publishers no matter if you travel abroad or stay at home. E-books from CBS Library are always available using your CBS username and password.
How to find e-books in Libsearch
All the e-books CBS Library buys access to are available through Libsearch.
- Start by writing a topic of interest in the search box
- Then narrow your search to “books” in the right-hand side
- Then narrow the search again to show “online access” only
When you find an interesting e-book, you just click the green “online” link. A pop-up page requests your CBS username and password. When you provide it, you are directed to the e-book.
Why do the e-books not look the same?
We buy e-books from many different suppliers. That's why you’ll see different looking systems with different services and options.
Some e-books are available as pdf; some require that you download Adobe Digital Editions. This varies depending on the provider. Take a minute to get acquainted with the e-book system to make the most of it. Most of them are quite straightforward.
E-books from specific publishers
If you for some reason only want to read books published by a specific publisher e.g. Oxford, Edgar Elgar, Springer and so on, you should check out our list of databases containing e-books.
