It is probably somewhat of a dream scenario for many young graduates of CBS. Only a select few can expect a place among Berlingske Business Magazine’s Talent 100. This year, however, 30 CBS alumni were listed in the magazine as one of the most talented young people in Denmark.
For the past 12 years Berlingske Business Magazine has published a special issue called Talent 100 focusing on 100 talented individuals under the age of 35. Companies and other interested parties nominate these talented individuals and Berlingske Research then selects the Talent 100 based on their background, CV and age.

The 30 talented CBS alumni represent a variety of sectors:

Sales and marketing        7
Entrepreneurs                 5
Economy and finance       5
Consulting                       5
Business development      3
Logistics and production    1

Generation Y
The editor of Berlingske Business Magazine, Claus Skovhus, wrote in the magazine’s editorial that the talented individuals on the list are part of Generation Y, which he describes as impactful, purposeful and the “me” generation.

This generation is primarily loyal to itself, he writes. But the workplace receives one’s full attention as long as it lives up to the expectations of the talented individual. If this is not the case, Generation Y employees readily change jobs.

- In the old days, getting a job in an established, highly illustrious company was quite an achievement, in contrast to today, where it’s the content of the job that is essential. Visions, dynamism, innovation, change and decision-making power are crucial, writes Claus Skovhus.
