International Summer University Programme (ISUP)

Our six-week summer programme offers students the opportunity of completing the equivalent of half a semester's course load (15 ECTS credits) in a multicultural environment. A full load consists of two courses taught by outstanding academics. The International Summer University Programme (ISUP) includes both undergraduate and graduate level courses.

International Students: 22 June - 2 August 2013 (Arrival day - 21 June 2013)
Courses/exams: 24 June - 2 August 2013

The International Summer University Programme began in 1999 as an initiative between the International Office and a number of academic programs and faculty at Copenhagen Business School. The program had 80 participants the first year and student interest in the program has steadily risen since then, with over 1300 participants in 2012.

The CBS International Summer University Programme is open to

  • International students interested in summer studies at Copenhagen Business School, Northern Europe's largest business school
  • CBS students
  • Students from other Danish institutions of higher education
  • Professionals seeking to further develop their knowledge and skills

To secure a high academic standard of the courses offered, the program collaborates very closely with the study boards at Copenhagen Business School to offer courses in areas recognized by our partner universities and many others worldwide. The ISUP faculty is comprised of professors from CBS, as well as international professors from top universities around the world. Active involvement of international senior executives from Danish and multinational companies will be an integral part in selected courses.

Summer in the City?
Definitely worth considering when the city is Copenhagen where the streets are filled with sidewalk cafés and the midnight sky is never darker than a deep blue. Close to the city and waiting for you to discover are quaint mediaeval towns, white beaches and lovely forests. You can walk the winding streets of the old city center or see it from a canal boat. Start your visit at the city of Copenhagen's website www.visitcopenhagen.com.
To complement learning from ISUP courses our program offers an action-packed cultural and social program where you will get an insight in both medivial Copenhagen and modern Danish Design and Architecture. Travel is easy from Copenhagen and you can take part in a weekend-trip to the buzzling city of Berlin.
