The two-years MSc in Business, Language and Culture (cand.merc.int.) offer language courses in Chinese and Japanese - giving an opportunity for students at the graduate level to continue an education with an Asian focus and expand their Japanese or Chinese language skills.
Students have to choose one of two MSc BLC specialisations: Leadership and Management Studies or Business and Development Studies
Most of the students choose electives with relevance to Asia and concentrate on Asia in their final thesis. Students take courses taught in English and Japanese/Chinese, which focus on modern Asia/Japan/China and the topics of the chosen line specialisation. The courses taught in Chinese/Japanese are usually very small, which helps students to form a special Asia-focused environment within the MSc BLC Programme.
Many of the MSc BLC Chinese/Japanese students spend time in Asia during the third semester; either at universities on exchange agreements, in internships, or as free-movers.
