My research interests are quite diverse, however, with a focus on the following areas:

  • The Transfer of Knowledge in MNCs - the factors that facilitate and hinders knowledge sharing in MNCs
  • The Process of Internationalization - particular the learning process that takes when conducting international activities
  • Foreign Operation Modes and Foreign Direct Investment - with a focus on dynamic aspects and switching costs
  • Organization of Multinational Companies - mainly organizational mechanism like autonomy and integration
  • The role of subsidiaries and subsidiary strategies - focus on strategically important subsidiaries like Centres of Excellence
  • International Corporate Governance- comparing different national models of corporate governance
