My background is in organization and entrepreneurship studies. I obtained the M.A. degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Warsaw. Previously, I have been involved in Small and Medium entrepreneurship study, started at Warsaw University (Poland) and continued at Växjö University (Sweden).

In my research I try to combine sociological theories and ethnographic methods with entrepreneurship research (including institutional entrepreneurship). I am mostly interested in open innovation model, its creation and development as well as in cooperation and communication between open source communities and business-oriented organizations/people who work together in the IT project.
