As of  September 1, CBS offers more room to study. In the last couple of years, CBS has increased the number of students. Even though CBS has several campus areas in Frederiksberg at its disposal, as well as a large exam building on Amager, the demand on the buildings has never been greater. Both students and staff have experienced this added pressure on the facilities.

The opening of Graduate House will ease this pressure. Graduate House is CBS’ newest building. It is located on H. V. Nyholms Vej in Frederiksberg, close to CBS’ other campus areas and the Metro. The house will primarily be used by 4,000 students from the 14 concentrations within the MSc programme in Economics and Business Administration (cand.merc.).

In Graduate House, the students will attend classes in brand new and flexible lecture rooms, which can be divided to split large classes up to enable group work in the same room. Graduate House also offers study seats for individuals and groups, and the cafeteria is open 24/7 with self-service outside the regular openings hours. Students will also have in-house access to administrative services such as Student Hub, career services and IT support.

The inaugural event will take place on 2 September from 15.00 to 18.00. Everyone is invited to come and see the new facilities. CBS President Per Holten-Andersen, Dean of Education Jan Molin, Chairman of CBS Students Jens Bonde and Mayor of Frederiksberg Jørgen Glenthøj will give speeches. There will be guided tours of the building, and light refreshments will be served.
