The Christer Karlsson Best Paper Award-Runner up at the 16th International Product Development Management Conference (Twente, The Netherlands, June 7-9) went to Assistant Professor Marion Poetz for the paper entitled ‘Systematic Identification of Problem Solvers from Analogous Markets: An Empirical Exploration of the Search Method Pyramiding’, co-authored with Reinhard Prügl (Junior Professor, Chair of Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship at Zeppelin University) and Christian Fabsich (Innovation Consultant, former master thesis student)

The Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics has also been granted five studentships. These studentships are intended for the study of open innovation, i.e. the businesses’ inclusion of external parties in the innovation processes, and entrepreneurial activities.
