Pamphlet # 1: 2009

The Center for the Study of the Americas has launched a pamphlet series to replace the Center newsletter. The series is entitled 'Contemporary issues of the Americas' and each issue will focus on one particular theme. It will be available electronically for download. The first issue, 'The Election of Barack Obama - a new Era'? investigates the significance of Obama's election in the light of historical trends and pressing contemporary problems.
